Effective August 30, 2026. This policy covers https://fightforusjiujitsu.com and every page on it, including our free classes form, our review pages and our referral offer page. It explains what we collect, who else receives it, and what you can do about it.
Information you give us
- Free classes request (/free-classes/): your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, which program you are asking about, a student age if the student is a child, your neighborhood, and anything you type into the message box.
- Review pages (/5-star-review-system/ and our internal staff form): a star rating, your name and email if you provide them, and your written feedback.
- Referral offer (/get-your-discount/): your name and phone number, and the names and contact details of the people you are referring. Please only give us details for people who are happy to hear from us. We will call them about the gym and tell them you referred them. We do not send them marketing text messages on the strength of your referral: only they can give us permission to text them, and they can do that on our free classes form.
Information collected automatically
When you use this site we and the services listed below may collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and how long you spend on them, the site or advertisement you arrived from, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked. If you arrive from an advertisement, those campaign tags are stored in your browser for up to 30 days and are attached to your enquiry if you later submit a form, so we know which advertising is working.
Third-party services on this site, and what they receive
These services are embedded in our pages. When a page loads or you interact with one, that service receives your IP address and technical information about your device, under its own privacy policy rather than ours.

Tracking across other websites
Yes. Third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site. Google Analytics and the GoHighLevel chat and attribution tools both operate across many sites, and the Google Maps and YouTube embeds are served by Google, which operates across the web. We do not control what those companies do with what they collect. This disclosure is made under Nevada Revised Statutes 603A.340.

- Our website host and any service provider that operates this site for us.
- Anyone we are legally required to share with, such as in response to lawful process.
We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share it with unrelated companies for their own marketing.
Text messages
How we get your permission. If you come to us through this website, we text you only if you tick the SMS consent box on our free classes form at /free-classes/. That box is unticked when the page loads and you have to tick it yourself. Leaving it unticked does not stop you sending the form and does not stop us calling you back, and consent to texts is never a condition of the free classes, of membership, or of buying anything from us.
If you are a member. Members gave us a mobile number when they enrolled, and we use it to run the gym: class and schedule changes, account and billing matters, and occasionally a request for a review. That is a separate relationship from the website form above, and it is not covered by the box on that form. You can stop any of it at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us at the front desk, and it will not affect your membership.
What we text you about. Replying to your enquiry, arranging and confirming your free classes, class times and schedule changes, gym news, and membership offers.
How often, and what it costs. Message frequency varies, and we send no more than about four marketing messages a month. Message and data rates may apply; those are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop. You will get one confirmation message and nothing after that. Reply HELP and we will send you our phone number and email address. You do not have to use STOP: you can also call us on (844) 751-0062, email drysdalefightforus@gmail.com, or tell us at the front desk, and we will take you off the list. Stopping texts does not delete you from our records, and it does not by itself stop us calling you. If you want us to stop calling as well, say so and we will.
We do not pass your mobile number around. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number and your SMS consent are not sold, rented or traded. Our messaging provider and the mobile carriers receive your number only to deliver the message to your handset.
What we keep as proof of your consent. When you tick the box we record that you ticked it, the date and time, the page you were on, your IP address, and the exact wording you agreed to, together with a version reference for that wording. If you leave it unticked we record that too, and we switch text messaging off on your contact record. We keep consent records for as long as we hold your contact record and for five years after that, and we keep records of opt-out requests permanently, so an opt-out can never be lost.
Age. SMS consent has to be given by the adult who owns the phone number. Telling us a child's age on the form is not consent to text that child.
People you refer. If someone gives us your details through our referral offer at /get-your-discount/, we do not send you marketing texts on the strength of that referral. Someone else cannot consent on your behalf.
How to review or change your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email drysdalefightforus@gmail.com or call (844) 751-0062 and tell us what you want changed. We may need to verify who you are before we act. Nevada residents may also submit a verified request under NRS 603A.345 asking us not to sell their covered information; use the same contact details.
Your other choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work as intended.
- Opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Do not click play on our videos if you would rather YouTube did not receive a request.
Children
This website is directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Where a child trains with us, the enrolment information is provided by a parent or guardian, in person or through the forms on this site. If you believe a child has given us information through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect what you submit, and our forms are transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
